THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!

AHC 2026 might still be a few months away, but it doesn’t feel far anymore. The preparations are already running at full speed — dates, teams, travel, schedules, the little details that nobody sees… until the week arrives and everything has to click. And if you’ve been part of it before, you know how quickly it comes once it starts.

And yes: we’re going back to Zell am See (Austria).

It’s one of those places where the tournament feels bigger than “just games.” You step out into summer, mountains all around, the lake right there — and then you walk into the rink and it’s instantly hockey again. Cold air, sharp turns, loud benches. Ice in

Zell am See also isn’t a random location on a map. It’s home to the EK Zeller Eisbären, so hockey has roots here. The arena feels like it belongs to the sport, and the town knows how to host teams, families and fans. That’s a big reason why AHC weeks in Zell am See always have this special vibe: focused on the ice, but still a real summer trip around it.

Now to the point if you’re still deciding: there are still spots available for individual players.

So even if you’re not travelling with a full team, you can still be part of AHC 2026. Register as a single player and you’ll be placed with a team that needs extra players. Simple as that. It’s a good option, and it’s exactly the kind of thing that disappears once the last few places are taken.

If you want one of those spots, don’t wait too long — the closer we get, the faster it fills up.
